Police have confirmed the death of a woman after being called to a residential street in Hartlepool.
The body of the woman was found in a property in Owton Manor Lane, in Hartlepool, after reports of concern for the welfare of a person on Tuesday.
Emergency crews attended and forensics officers were seen at the property.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 11.30am on Tuesday 12 March police were called to concerns for the safety of a woman at a property on Owton Manor Lane in Hartlepool.
"When officers arrived, the woman had died.
"There are no suspicious circumstances."
