A man has been arrested following reports of a "disturbance" near Darlington Train Station this morning (December 12).
Police convened on Victoria Road, Darlington this morning in response to an incident which was later categorised as a "disturbance".
Pictures show two police cars on the road, one of which was pulled in front of a bus.
A witness reported that the bus driver had got out of his vehicle and was "directing traffic" around the police cars.
Following the incident, Durham Constabulary has confirmed a man has been arrested and is being taken into custody.
A spokesperson said: "Police were called at 9am this morning (December 12) to reports of a disturbance on Victoria Road, Darlington.
"A man was arrested at the scene and is currently being taken into custody.
"Nobody is believed to be injured."
