A food cart inspired by a popular BBC series is teaming up with a specialist scotch egg maker to bring a new burger to County Durham.
Piggy Blinders are collaborating with Cassie's Kitchen to bring the 'Cassie Blinder,' a burger which fuses their mouthwatering burgers with Cassie's delicious scotch eggs, to Bishop Auckland street food market on Friday (September 29).
The stall will be selling the burger between 4 and 9pm which the team say they "super egg-cited" to bring to the market's attendees.

The invention consists of a small batch Cumbrian chorizo scotch egg sandwiched around double hash browns, two 2oz pork patties, double cheese, smoked streaky bacon and 'blinder sauce.'
A Piggy Blinders spokesperson said: "It’s that time again, Street Food Market - Bishop Auckland returns this FRIDAY from 4 till 9 with some of the best street food in the north of England, if not the world, and some cracking entertainment to boot.
"This time around we’ve got some cracking new additions to the menu including a chicken burger with a difference, and also, we’re super eggcited to team up with the outstanding Cassie’s Kitchen for one night only (maybe) this FRIDAY at the Street Food Market - Bishop Auckland.
"Limited numbers available on the night so get in quick, you’ll not wanna miss it cos it’s Eggsellent."
They have told attendees to tag both businesses in their social media posts on the day about the burger to have the chance to win two burgers and fries from the Peaky Blinders-inspired outfit, and 3 scotch eggs from Cassie's kitchen.
As it teams with the Consett couple, Cassie's Kitchen spokesperson called the burger the best collaboration to come out of the North East as residents prepare to chow down at the market.
