A new café and deli that has been branded a 'culinary haven' by its owners has opened in County Durham to rave reviews.
Despite only opening on Saturday, September 16, Bagel Break café and deli on North Road in Durham City has already garnered several five-star reviews.
As the name suggests, the new cafe serves up plenty of bagels, as well as coffee, sweet treats, savoury breakfast items, burgers and skewers and has posted several photos of curries on their social media pages too.

Already, the venue has managed to collect several five-star reviews online, which has praised its cosy atmosphere and desserts.
One customer left a review reading: "Very nice cosy place with friendly people and the food is to die for. Chicken bread, velvet cake, mocha cake and sticky toffee pudding were top-notch."

Meanwhile, another added: "Finally I find a delicious taste in town. I highly recommend the breakfast."
The opening of Bagel Break comes at the same time as several other businesses opening in Durham City, which include Mediterranean restaurant Manakeet, and family-run Italian restaurant on Silver Street, Pesto.
