The building that has been home to Guru Boutique in Darlington has now been sold after a sign appears above its door.
The business has been in the town since 1972, and for most of that time, Blackwellgate has been its home.
It was announced earlier this year that the grade II listed building would go up for sale as the business would be vacating the premises this June.
The boutique known for selling dreamcatchers, jewellery, clothes, and accessories will continue to trade online.

Beryl Hankin, who runs Guru Boutique, said: “It’s a tribute to the character of the building that our landlord has sold it straight away and it won’t be standing empty.
“We hope the new owner will enjoy owning such a quirky building and that the next tenant enjoys occupying number 24 as much as we have done.”
Beryl and her mother, Irene, first opened the shop in Court Arcade on March 16, 1972, before the business moved to Blackwellgate in January 1990.
A notice was spotted at the shop this week notifying the public that the building had officially been sold.

Earlier this week, a sign appeared on the door of the shop alerting people that the shop was now officially closed.
As of today (Wednesday, June 28) the staff were clearing out the last of the stock.
Celebrities over the years have been associated with the shop, including Jim Moir, otherwise known as Vic Reeves.
Beryl revealed that the death of her beloved husband, Ray, in December 2021, coupled with her own ongoing cancer fight, had made her re-evaluate her life.
