The Original Factory Shop - a popular high street retailer has opened a new location in the North East today - creating 10 jobs for the local community in the process.
The Original Factory Shop, has opened its brand-new Chester-le-Street store today (Saturday, June 17), expanding its store portfolio to 186 - and is offering the first customers through the door free gift cards worth up to £100.
The store will perform a prize draw lucky dip for the first 50 paying customers, with values of up to £100 to be won.

The new-look discount department store is situated on Font Street in Chester-le-Street, and will retail a range of items, including branded clothing and footwear, garden and outdoor products, pet products, electricals, and homewares.
Brands stocked at the store will include the likes of Adidas, Nike, Clinique, Olay, Ralph Lauren, Converse, Hugo Boss and Emporio Armani, with savings of up to 70 per cent on retail prices.
It is running a set of special in-store-only offers from opening up until July 19.
The opening of the new store has created ten jobs for the Chester-le-Street community.
Michelle Ryan, Regional Business Development Manager comments: “TOFS is a national business made up of over 180 local businesses, so we’re really excited to be coming to Chester-le-Street and serving the local community.
"Our store will be run by local people from Durham, and recruited ten job positions."

North East property consultancy @retail brokered the letting on behalf of the landlord.

Chester le Street is a popular retail destination and we were able to deliver 3 competitive proposals from interested parties, which resulted in the letting to TOFS within a matter of weeks."
The new store is located at 16 - 20 Front Street Chester-le-Street DH3 3BE.
