A new family-run takeaway has opened in Hartlepool.
Mario's, in Hartlepool, welcomed its first batch of customers on Monday (June 5). The new shop on Northgate is the second location for Adeeb Din, 29, and his family's business.
Their existing takeout has been serving up delicacies to the residents of Acklam, Middlesbrough, from their Trimdon Avenue location since opening over a year ago. Their tasty takeouts have earned them a rating of 4.6 stars and a loyal customer base.

At the start of April, the shop's previous tenant Papa Chillis pizzeria, announced their closure after a decade of serving the community.
The pizzeria, located on Northgate, had been operating in the town for 15 years and sported a menu offering pizza, parmesan, kebabs, wraps and burgers to customers.
Speaking on the closure, a spokesperson for Papa Chillis promised they would be back "bigger and stronger."
They said: "With a heavy heart, I am letting you all know that Papa Chillis will be closing its doors [and] turning off its ovens on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

"After serving the people of Hartlepool for 15 years, we want to thank our customers for their love and support over the years.
"We will be back bigger and stronger."
In a further statement on their website, the takeaway confirmed they will be closing the shop for four weeks while working on a rebrand, before reopening.
They said: "We are working on rebranding, we will be closed for the next four weeks.

Similar to their predecessor's menu, Mario's will be serving up pizza, kebabs, parmos, garlic bread, and other classic takeaway staples.
Owner Adeeb said: "We're really happy to be branching out from our Middlesbrough location. In Middlesbrough, we've had lots of success and are hoping for the same in Hartlepool."
