A pair of teenage girls from North Yorkshire have gone missing, with police on an "urgent" search for them.

Keira, aged 14, and Katie, aged 15, are both missing after last being seen in York at 3 pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 24).

The pair are thought to have links to Hull, with officers from North Yorkshire police working with colleagues at Humberside police to locate the teenagers.

Keira is described as white, 5’3”, of slim build, with very long blonde hair. Katie is described as white, 5’7”, of slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair, and was last seen wearing jean shorts and a black top.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone who has seen the girls or has information that could assist our urgent enquiries is asked to call 101.

"If anyone has an immediate sighting or knows where they are now is asked to call 999. NYP Ref – NYP-24052023-0598 (Katie) NYP-24052023-0583 (Keira)."
