A horror crash in Northumberland yesterday (May 10) saw one man killed and another in hospital with serious injuries.
The collision took place on a busy stretch of the A69, near Haydon Bridge, involving a Land Rover and a Mazda.
A 62-year-old man died at the scene, and police confirmed that his next of kin have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist officers.
Another man, 68, was rushed to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the collision.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing and a number of witnesses have already been spoken to.
"We're now asking anyone else who is yet to come forward to get in touch, especially anyone who has dashcam footage.
"This is an incredibly tragic incident and our thoughts are with the families of those affected. We know this happened on a busy stretch of the A69 so please, get in touch and share what you know, or submit your dashcam footage via our website.
