An investigation has been launched and a man arrested after a woman was found dead in her home after a suspected murder.
Forensics teams were spotted at an address in High Newham Court this morning in Stockton.

Multiple police vans were seen in the area as well as officers carrying bags and a police cordon in place.
Officers say a team of detectives are investigating the incident and treating the death as suspicious.

A post-mortem is currently underway to establish the cause of death.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody and is being questioned by officers.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Officers wish to reassure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident and there should be no reason for any alarm within the community.
“Anyone with information on this incident, or CCTV or doorbell camera footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 086875.”
