A North Yorkshire road has been reopened after an HGV toppled over earlier today (Tuesday, May 2).
A lorry careered off of the A1(M) northbound this morning, becoming stuck on an embankment between J46 (Wetherby) and J47 (Harrogate), around 8.45 am this morning.
It does believed anyone was hurt in the crash.
Work to recover the vehicle - which had come to rest not far from the Allerton Park Interchange - was set to take place tonight but went ahead early.

Lanes one and two, out of three, as well as the northbound entry slip, were all closed to traffic for the vehicle to be recovered and removed.
Traffic officers from National Highways, alongside specialist contractors and emergency services, worked to recover the vehicle, and remove debris.
All lanes of the A1M were successfully reopened at 5.46 pm, though there are still residual delays of 15 minutes on the approach.
