A road through a Northumbrian town has been closed after police discovered a suspected cannabis farm.
Front Street, in Prudhoe, is currently closed in the vicinity of Holyoake Street and Victoria Terrace as officers carry out their enquiries on the scene.
Northumbria Police received reports of a disturbance at 11.40 pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 26), when "offenders attacked premises before making off in a vehicle".
When officers were deployed to the scene, they discovered a suspected cannabis farm, which has since been seized and dismantled.

Front Street/B6395 remains closed in both directions.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said:
“At 11.40 pm yesterday (Wednesday) we received a report of a disturbance at an address on Front Street in Prudhoe.
“It was reported that a number of offenders had attacked a premises before making off in a vehicle.
“Officers were immediately deployed to the scene, and inside the premises they located a suspected cannabis farm.

“The farm has been seized and will be dismantled.
“A male occupant of the address has been taken to hospital with wrist injuries consistent with having fallen from or jumped out of a window.
“A full investigation is ongoing into the incident.
“Three men – aged 34, 22, and 21 – have since been arrested and remain in police custody at this time.

“Officers remain at the scene.
“Front Street is currently closed in the vicinity of Holyoake Street and Victoria Terrace as enquiries are carried out at the scene.
“Anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to an officer on duty.”
