A police investigation is underway after a bus carrying passengers toppled on its side.
The number 16 was travelling from Durham to Stanley when the incident occurred at around 12pm on Friday.
Emergency services were called to B6532 Lowery Lane near Craghead and found the bus on its side in a hedge.

There were 11 passengers on board and two teenage boys were taken to hospital but no-one was seriously injured.
It is understood Go NorthEast which runs the service, is looking into what happened.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police are appealing for information following a collision near Stanley on Friday.
“The incident occurred at around 12pm on the B6532 on Lowery Lane and involved an overturned bus.
“Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured however those with minor injuries were taken to University Hospital of North Durham as a precaution.”

A road closure was in place for several hours whilst the bus was recovered.
The spokesperson added: “Officers are now keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the collision or with dashcam footage of the incident.”
