Five people have been arrested after an aggrevated burglary in County Durham that saw a police corden in place and a street on lock down.
Durham Police were called to reports of an aggravated burglary in Seventh Street, Horden, at around 1.20am this morning (April 14).
Suspects are believed to have broken into the property and stolen cash and other items before making off in a car.

Officers attended and stopped the vehicle nearby.
Five people, four men and a woman, were arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody.
Specialist officers were spotted at the scene throughout the morning - while at least four police vehicles could be seen in Horden.
Enquiries are ongoing.
