A popular North East takeaway has announced it has closed its doors this week after serving the community for over a decade.
Papa Chillis in Hartlepool announced on Wednesday (March 29) they have closed their doors this week (April 1).
The restaurant thanked customers for the love and support they have shown the business over the years.

The pizzeria, located on Northgate, has been running in the town for 15 years and sported a menu offering pizza, parmesan, kebabs, wraps and burgers to customers.
Speaking on the closure, a spokesperson for Papa Chillis promised they would be back "bigger and stronger."
They said: "With a heavy heart, I am letting you all know that Papa Chillis will be closing its doors [and] turning off its ovens on Saturday 1st April 2023.
"After serving the people of Hartlepool for 15 years, we want to thank our customers for the love and support over the years.
"We will be back bigger and stronger."

The news was met with disappointment and sadness from patrons online as they bid the venue farewell.
In a social media post, one dejected resident said: "Such a shame. Brill shop."
Another heartbroken resident said: "No cheesy chips and garlic for us next Sunday."
In a further statement on their website, the takeaway confirmed they will be closing the shop for four weeks while working on a rebrand, before reopening.
They said: "We are working on rebranding, we will be closed for the next four weeks.
"Sorry for the inconvenience caused."
