A woman's body has been found in a flat in Stockton, prompting an investigation by police forensic teams.
Early yesterday morning (March 30), the ambulance service alerted Cleveland Police of an incident at a property on Parkfield Way in Stockton.
Three police vehicles and forensic investigators attended the address, where a 35-year-old woman was found dead in an upstairs flat.

Two men (aged 53 and 54) were arrested in connection with the incident. They have since been interviewed and released on bail.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said that enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The woman's death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Neither the identity of the deceased woman nor the two men have been revealed.

Since the investigation started yesterday morning, police have confirmed they have made arrests in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: "At 5.45 am yesterday (Thursday 30th March) police were called by ambulance service colleagues to an address on Parkfield Way in Stockton.
"Sadly a 35-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the address. She has now been identified and her next of kin are aware.

"Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this very difficult time.
"Two men (53 and 54) were arrested in connection with the incident and they were interviewed and then released on bail.
