Upmarket high-street fashion brand Joules has closed one of its North East stores months after a rescue deal for the popular chain.
Signs on the windows of the Joules store on Yarm High Street, which opened in 2021, have revealed that the store has now sadly closed.
The closure follows bad fortunes for the company, which drafted in administrators in November after failing to secure emergency funding.

Joules then announced that it would be closing 19 stores and cutting 133 jobs after a majority stake was bought by retail rival Next.
Joules also has other stores in the North East, including Northallerton at Barkers and Morpeth.
Independent stores in Stokesley and Thornaby have also previously sold their goods.
Following the sign appearing on the door, which thanks customers for their support since 2021, shoppers were quick to take to social media to bemoan "yet another" closure for the high street.
Taking to Facebook, one user said: "High streets are becoming a joke now - it's ridiculous that shoppers are getting left behind," while another added: "This is the death of the high street".
