One person has been taken to hospital after two crashes on a busy North East road on Tuesday (January 17) - one involving a fire engine dealing with the incident.
The casualty was been to Hexham General Hospital, in Northumberland, after the collisions on the A69 Eastbound at Corbridge.
Three people in all suffered injuries, none of them life-threatening.
Northumbria Police said they received a report of a crash near the Corbridge Interchange at 9am.
They also confirmed there was a second crash while they were in attendance, where a vehicle collided with a fire engine at the scene.

Northumbria Police have said the driver is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
In a statement today, a Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At 9am today, we received reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A69 eastbound in Corbridge.
“Emergency services attended and two people are believed to have suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“While officers have been in attendance, a vehicle has collided with a fire engine which was at the scene.

“The driver is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
“The eastbound side of the road is currently closed while emergency services assist those affected and remove vehicles from the carriageway.”
This comes after there were reports of a crash on the A69 in Corbridge, between Stagshaw roundabout and Styford roundabout.
Meanwhile, the road between these areas remains closed at the time of writing.

In a statement, a North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson confirmed they had deployed two ambulances to the scene and taken one person to hospital this morning.
They said: "We were called at 08.59am to a road traffic collision on the A69 Eastbound near Corbridge Interchange.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and one patient was taken to Hexham General."
