TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 31-year-old was found with lacerations to this stomach.
One man, aged 23, was detained shortly after an incident on the Bowesfield Lane and Edwards Street area of Stockton at around 8.20pm on Saturday, April 28.
A 31-year-old man is being treated at James Cook University Hospital, however his condition is not thought to be life-threatening and has been described as "stable".
Cleveland Police confirmed on Sunday morning that a second man, also aged 23, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection to the incident.
Both men remain in police custody.
Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.
