FIRE crews have extinguished a large fire at an industrial estate in Sunderland.
The fire broke out at A1 Recovery Accident Management, on Hepworth Road, in the Southwick area at about 11.15am.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service sent seven fire crews - with 39 firefighters and three fire service officers - to the scene.
There was also an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP), a command support vehicle and a support appliance there. Large plumes of smoke could be seen in the surrounding area.
The fire service said the fire was brought under control at 1.30pm.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
