FIRE crews were called out to a burning car in a residential street in a County Durham village last night.
The vehicle on Carrside Road, Trimdon Village, was well alight when firefighters arrived at 10.11pm on Wednesday.
One appliance from Sedgefield attended and breathing apparatus and one hose reel were used to extinguish the blaze.
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 11.05pm.
Police were also in attendance.
