Lorry destroyed in fire
A LARGE goods vehicle and its cargo of tyres was destroyed in a blaze in the A19 southbound near Ellerbeck junction.
Fire crews from Northallerton, Yarm and Coulby Newham atte3nded the incident, which happened at around 11.50pm on Monday.
The cause is believed to have been an electrical fault.
