POLICE have issued an appeal to identify a man after he was caught on CCTV inside a Darlington supermarket.

The man pictured was picked up by security cameras inside Victoria Road’s Sainsbury’s, on Tuesday, May 17.

No further details have been released over the nature of the incident that sparked the police appeal.

Anyone with information on his identity can contact the police by calling non-emergency number 101.
