STORYTELLER Ben Haggerty will bring his show Fairy Tales for Grown Ups; the Grateful and the Dead, to Barningham Village Hall on Friday, February 12.
The performance is an evening in two halves; the first will be a set of short stories and the second a single long fairytale.
Fairy Tales for Grown Ups comes under the banner of the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme that brings professional theatre and music to village halls and community venues across the North Pennines.
Robin Brooks, a member of Barningham Village Hall Committee, said: “Ben Haggerty is a world-class performer and this is his only show in Teesdale. It promises to be a dramatic and magical evening.”
The show starts at 7.30 pm and tickets cost £9.50 for adults, £4 for children and £20 for families.
Call 01833-621203 or book on line at highlightsnorth.co.uk.
It is suitable for all over 12. Show-goers are welcome to bring their own drinks.
