THE family of missing man Lee Brown have been informed after a body was found in the River Tees, police said this afternoon.
Officers are currently at the River Tees in Stockton, after a member of the public reported seeing the body of a man in the water near to the Tees Barrage at 1.15pm.
Cleveland Police said: "The body has been recovered from the water and the man will be formally identified.
"The family of missing man Lee Brown have been informed and will be kept fully updated and supported by specialist officers."
The last confirmed sighting of the 24-year-old was at about 11.25pm on Saturday, April 25, near to the River Tees Watersports Centre in Stockton.
He had been at a party on the TeessidePrincess boat on the evening that he went missing. He got off the boat in Stockton and was reported missing when he failed to contact family or friends.
