A LARGE fire destroyed offices and cars at an industrial estate on Monday night.
The blaze was reported at a timber yard on the Bon Lea Trading Estate in Thornaby at 10.05pm.
The fire spread to a commercial car garage and a scaffolding yard.
An estimated 20 tonnes of timber, offices and three cars - a transit van, a Lexus and a Citroen Xsara - were destroyed.
Five appliances from Middlesbrough, Stockton and Thornaby attended the incident.
