A FLORIST is encouraging men to be creative this Valentine’s Day by arranging their own romantic bouquet.
Adam Prest, from Sedgefield, County Durham, is holding a free drop-in workshop on Saturday, February 14, from 10am to 5pm, for people to create floral arrangements for their Valentine.
The event, at RE, an upcycling shop in Corbridge, Northumberland, is open to all but is particularly aimed at men.
Mr Prest, 31, said: “I think it’s such a romantic gesture for a man to make a bouquet for their wife, girlfriend or partner. I will encourage them to be creative and experimental with colours and textures.
“We will use seasonal flowers. There will be no clichéd imported red roses.”
