A CANNABIS farm has been uncovered by police in Newcastle.
At 3.54pm on Friday, December 5 officers received reports of suspicious activity at an address on Curtis Road, Fenham.
Officers attended and after conducting a search of the property, discovered around 130 cannibis plants. It is believed the property is being used for cannibis cultivation.
Inspector Sean Ferguson said: "I would ask anyone who suspects there is drug-related activity in their area to contact police.
"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who might have seen people coming and going from the address in recent weeks and who might have information that could help with our enquiries."
Enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting reference 810 05/12/14 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
