TWO Stockton libraries are preparing to move into their new homes in nearby children’s centres.
From Monday, March 3 Thornaby Library (Westbury Street) will close and will reopen in the Riverbank Children’s Centre on Gilmour Street on Monday, March 31.
Roseworth Library will close on Monday, March 17 and reopen in Redhill Children’s Centre on Redhill Road on Monday, April 14.
UKIP LEADER: Ukip's deputy leader and MEP, Paul Nutall is to visit Teesside. The politician will be the guest speaker at a public meeting at the Queens Club in Thornaby on Wednesday, March 5. He will spend the afternoon on Stockton market where he will be joining his local UKIP colleagues and meeting shoppers. The Stockton South constituency is one of the most marginal in the country and is likely to be a key battleground in the run-up to next year's General Election.
BABY BUMPS: A specialist baby and children's goods market will he held for the first time from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, March 8. This new market is the first in Stockton council’s specialist market programme in Stockton Town Centre throughout the year. Visit www.stockton.gov.uk/specialistmarkets to find out more.
