A ROYAL Mail van was stolen in a burglary in Teesside over the weekend.
Police said they did not believe anything was taken from the van, which disappeared overnight between 11pm Saturday August and 7.30am on Sunday September 1.
Keys to the property, along with the keys to the householders’ vehicles, were taken.
The red Royal Mail van, which was parked outside the property, was stolen and recovered later on Bolckow Industrial Estate in the Grangetown area.
A police spokeswoman said it was not believed that anything was stolen from inside the van.
Anyone who may have information regarding the burglary or anyone who may have seen the Royal Mail van in the area of Bolckow Industrial estate is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Kenneth Clark of Stockton CID on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
