A NORTH Yorkshire technology company is supporting an initiative to back the British Forces Foundation (BFF).

Analox Sensor Technology has sponsored the Lap of Honour campaign, which sees a Mini touring the UK, collecting signatures from 50 British icons. The campaign coincides with the tenth anniversary of the BFF charity.

The Mini has been signed by icons including Baroness Thatcher, Gordon Brown, Dame Helen Mirren and BFF Trustee Kathryn Jenkins.

North-East Paralympian Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, and former Newcastle Falcons fly-half Jonny Wilkinson have also pledged their support.

Analox, based in Stokesley, specialises in the design of gas analysers for military and commercial use.

Mark Lewis, managing director of Analox, said: “We have worked with the MoD for more than a decade, and are inevitably keen to support the armed forces through the BFF.

“At a time when so many of our forces are being put to the test, we wanted to show our appreciation for their commitment, and hope that the campaign proves a morale boost for those on the front line.”
